Synthinity Album Lyrics. Album (Studio full-length).
7. Living Structures. Synthinity (Cass, Album, Ltd). Synthinity (CD, Album).
Neglected Fields entered the musical stage with this first album as a work of art. You will find here, unlike on other technical death albums every riff to be mastered perfectly as to fit with the next one, and this extremely hard to do, so their sound sound extremely mature. Forget about simple 4/4 riffs, you will not find many here for these guys have recalibrated the wheel (not exactly reinvented it). I mean as others have said it, Neglected Fields are very original. If you hate the extremely clean sound of Necrophagist for instance, dont be afraid, Synthinity is not like that, yet cleaner than the big namesDeath and Atheist. The drums balance very well with the guitars, yet the bass is a bit silent (not in "Only the good die young" though).
Neglected Fields biography Latvia's Extreme Progressive Metal group NEGLECTED FIELDS, undisputed leaders of the Baltic Progressive Metal scene, was originally founded by members of other professional collectives of Latvia's Metal scene - Sergey 'Destruction'(guitars, vocals, main songwriter and lyricist), Herman(guitars), Sergey(bass), Karlis(drums). The group's first studio album 'Synthinity' was recorded in August 1997 at the Finnish Tico-Tico Studio and released the next year. Although the musicians' talent and songwriting skill was evident, the group didn't quite reach its peak of popularity with this release. Joined by a new member, the classically trained keyboardist George, the group released a new, more matured and ambitious release 'Mephisto Lettonica' in 2000 through the Italian Scarlet Records.
