Band Name Torrential Downpour. Album Name Truth Knowledge Vision. Released date 10 June 2014. Labels Self-Released. This is where the album begins to get interesting. Satan, Whatever. goes through different changes throughout, all the while retaining that slight black metal influence, while constantly shifting and changing their sound. Imagine it being like your best friend who is going through different changes in his appearance, but it’s always obvious to you that he’s still the same person.

Torrential Downpour melts faces and rapes your ears with the most brutal sounds imaginable. Saw them play at The Clash Bar, NJ and again at BLVD Bar, NJ with Empier in the summer of 2010. Equal parts sick + nasty. If ur going to one of there shows, wear a diaper and maybe bring along some of those wet wipes. I heard that they're new album is gonna be played entirely with xylophones. Some homeless dude told me That so it's probably bogus. I gave him a dollar anyway and told him to shut his trap. then I took all the money in his cup and bought this album with it. Torrential Downpour’s 2011 album Connected Through was the one to hit me first, with the awesomeness of this band. Needless to say I was quite underwhelmed by the band’s 2013 EP The Phaneron, which must be some kind of experiment, or a little something to make us wait until what would become their next real album: Truth Knowledge Vision. That’s one thing Torrential Downpour has understood. And so, in Truth Knowledge Vision, you’ll have a good deal of in-your-face riffs with odd timings and shouted lyrics, as well as some, more atmospheric parts, sounding at time like what I’d call a Far West guitar, with actual vocal melodies (quite a novelty in the genre!) accompanied by an organ! There’s some vocal manipulation, which is really cool, in my opinion, mostly because so few artists seem willing to try it, and the most noticeable example of it is in the song Hyperion, at around 5:00 in.
